Licensing

A current SVRA Super License or equivalent is required to compete in PSSA.

Applicants must have been previously licensed with an organization recognized by PMH, and have a minimum of three (3) years of racing experience in cars of similar performance level as those in the Super License category. Cars in this category include, but are not limited to: GTP, Group C, WSC, Daytona Prototype, Can Am, F1, F3000, F5000, Indy, Indy Lights, IMSA GTS and GTO.

Verification of such licensing, types of race cars driven, as well as race results must be submitted to the National License Director, along with the New License Application.

Serious examination of the applicant’s racing history, types of cars driven, incident and safety record will take place. Grand-fathering of individual drivers based on their Vintage experience in this category is at the discretion of the National License Director.

If a new applicant is accepted for a Super License, that driver may be required to carry the “Rookie” stripe on that driver’s car for up to three (3) races.

The decision to issue an SVRA Super License is at the sole discretion of the National License Director. The decision is final and not subject to appeal.
